Travelling is one of the most important and enriching elements of my life. As my enchanted guest Susan Cornelis says, one feels "a couple decades younger" when one travels! And for me as an artist travelling is a wonderful opportunity to get new inspiration and motivation. My travel sketches are only impressions of what I see and feel, sometimes more imagined than seen, but always the result of the actual ingredients: landscapes, events, moods, etc.
And always the expression of a deep emotional reaction to the places I am going through...
